This Privacy Policy explains what information CB5 Solutions, LLC (“CB5,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and the forms on it, and to our use of LinkedIn described below.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact forms. Your name, email address, your message, and any other details the form asks for or you choose to include.
- Job applications. Your first and last name, email address, and the resume you upload, including any information in it.
- Referrals. If you refer a candidate, we collect your name, email address and phone number; the candidate’s name, email address and phone number; the position; any notes you add; and the confirmations you check on the form. You must have the candidate’s permission before sharing their details with us, as set out in our Referral Award Program Terms and Conditions.
- Webinar registrations and whitepaper downloads. The information requested on the form, such as your name and email address.
Information collected automatically
- When you submit a form, we may also record your IP address, your browser type, and the page you came from, to help prevent spam and abuse.
- When you visit any page, the services that host and protect this website process your IP address and basic details of your request, such as the page requested and your browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and third-party services on this site
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The site uses only the cookies it needs to work and stay secure, plus the services below.
- Google reCAPTCHA. Some forms on this site use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and browser, may set cookies, and sends this information to Google. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Fonts. Some of the site’s fonts are loaded from a third-party font service, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
- Social media links. Links to our LinkedIn and other social media pages are ordinary links. If you follow one, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To review job applications, contact applicants, and make hiring decisions.
- To run the Referral Award Program, including contacting referred candidates, checking eligibility, and determining and paying awards.
- To provide webinar details and whitepapers you request.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How we share information
- Within CB5. Information you submit is shared only with the CB5 staff who need it to respond to you, to recruit, or to run the Referral Award Program, and may be kept in our internal business systems.
- Service providers. Companies that host, secure and support this website, deliver our email, or provide the services described above process information on our behalf.
- Referred candidates. When we contact a candidate you referred, we may tell them who referred them.
- Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
We use LinkedIn only to publish content to CB5’s own LinkedIn company page, and the credentials this requires are stored securely. We do not use this connection to collect, store, or sell LinkedIn members’ personal data.
How long we keep information
- Contact form submissions: up to two years, so we can follow up on your inquiry.
- Job applications and resumes: up to three years after you apply, so we can consider you for other openings and meet employment recordkeeping requirements.
- Referrals: three years after the referral is submitted. If a referral award is paid, we keep the records needed for payment and tax reporting for as long as the law requires.
Copies may also remain in email and in backups until those are deleted on their normal schedule. We may keep information longer when the law requires it or when we need it to resolve a dispute.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information and limit access to the people who need it. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong; or
- delete your information.
This includes candidates who were referred to us by someone else. Email privacy@cbfive.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we aim to respond within 30 days. We may keep some information where the law requires it or where we need it for legitimate business records, such as records of referral awards, and we will tell you if that applies.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
CB5 is based in the United States, and information collected through this website is processed and stored in the United States.
Links to other websites
This website links to other websites that we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make significant changes, we will note them clearly on this page.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA.
