Mid/Jr. SQL Engineer

CB5 is looking for a Mid/Jr. SQL Engineer. Will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity.

Duties:

• Uses structured query language (SQL) to manipulate data, implement database-driven solutions, and build applications
• Designs and develops relational databases and writes code that interacts with stored data
• Ensures performance, security, and availability of databases and handles common database procedures
• Diagnoses and resolves complex issues using innovative approaches and troubleshoots problems
• Works on Agile teams and collaborates with internal customers and other developers
• Prepares documentation and specifications and mentors less-experienced staff

Requirements:

• 2+ proven work experience as a SQL Database Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, and other related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning of database systems.
• Understanding of data architecture and database design.
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.

Secret Clearance is Preferred but must be Clearable.

Pay: $116,000.00 – $138,000.00 per year
